Situated in Rukungiri District, the Kisiizi Hospit

Situated in Rukungiri District, the Kisiizi Hospital was opened in 1958 by missionary John Sharp but is now run by the North Kigezi Diocese of the Church of Uganda. The hospital is a private non-profit institution in a particularly poor rural community, which means that only 40% of the costs of the hospital are funded by patients.
Kisiizi Hospital needs urgent funding to hire much-needed staff members: ten enrolled nurses, a palliative care nurse, a psychiatric clinical officer, a Child & Adolescent Mental Health Nurse, a lab scientist, a human resource coordinator, a specialist surgeon, an ENT surgeon, a dental surgeon & an occupational therapist.
